What is a ceramic filter?

The ceramic filter is a device used to filter water. Small size pores of ceramic material filters dirt, debris and bacteria from water. Diatomaceous Earth, or clay, is a type of sedimentary rock that consists of very fine particles that usually form this type of filter. The purpose of these filters is to provide pure drinking water that is bacteriologically safe.
