What is the vivarium chameleon?

Chameleon vivarium is a type of cage that is generally used to place the pets chameleons. These exotic pets usually have specific requirements for ventilation, humidity and temperature that may vary according to their specific species. A typical chameleon needs a cage of at least 20 inches (0.5 meters) high. A screening wall or panel for vivariu chameleon can help ensure that the cover gets sufficient air circulation to prevent skin infections. The vivarium chameleon should also usually provide a good Light source of UVA/UVB light, the right place of heating and a irrigation system similar to rainfall.

A suitable irrigation system is an important part of a comfortable chameleon station, as these lizards will usually not drink from the bowl. In the wild they usually find dew of the leaves. Usually, an irrigation device should be considered that allows you to slowly drip water into the cage. Moisture levels can be maintained by appropriate collection and removing any excessCage floor water, although regular fog may be necessary to ensure the comfort and health of the chameleon. The vivarium chameleon should also have at least one side of the screen wire so that the air can flow freely with cages to prevent the host of fungal and bacterial infections that can affect these reptiles when maintained in a stuffy environment.

The ideal temperature and level of the average chameleon vivarium should usually be treated according to the type of chameleon located inside. Some species, such as a veiled chameleon, have evolved into a hot environment, while others like Jackson's chameleon are usually successful in a cold climate. It is assumed that all these lizards do best when offered 12 hours of daily access to natural light, even if the corresponding UVA/UVB lighting can be replaced inside the vivarium chameleon. UVA/UVB is considered necessary to help lizardsmetabolize the calcium they eat. Chameleons who do not receive adequate UVA/UVB light can develop serious bone disorders.

Average vivarium for chameleon should generally be at least 20 inches (0.5 meters) high, although some experts recommend a cage as 4 feet (1.2 meters). The width of the cage should generally be at least 3 feet (0.9 meters). In the wild, these reptiles spend most of their time on the trees, so they will usually be most comfortable if they have enough space for climb. Branches and other climbing devices can be placed inside the vivaria.
