What is the choir?
Choir is a group of singers who perform together, accompanied by or without musical instruments. You can also hear a choir known as the choir. Choirs around the world are incredibly diverse, from occasional secular groups that meet and perform regularly to highly organized church corps with a number of very disciplined singers. Secular and religious music is composed for the choir and some churches also adapt existing music pieces for the performance.
The history of the choir is quite ancient. For example, the Greeks used the singing choir to accompany stage performances, and the medieval church also used the chanted Plainsong to accompany religious services. Gradually, the concept of polyphonic or "many expressed" congregations, with music compositions with several parts that could be sung together or individually, and modern choirs usually perform polyphonic compositions that show a number of votes.

The type of composition also varies considerably, depending on the members of the choir and the environment in which they perform.

Some communities have occasional community choirs that welcome anyone who wants to join. Usually people who want to join these choirs must prove the ability to sing and read notes and be able to commit to the training schedule. Corps can also be found in educational institutions, religious parishes and teams of music artists such as urban orchestras and operas.
