What is Cornet?

Cornet, as well as a better known tube, is a member of the brass family of instruments. The brass family is often divided into corners, trumpets, trips and tubes. Cornet is a member of the Trumpet Group, which includes bass trumpets in EB and BB; trumpets in BB, C, D and EB; Piccolo tube in A BB; Cornets BB and EB; and BB Flugelhorn.

Although the music of the orchestra called Cornet has been written, Trumpet is now used more often in the orchestras, although experts feel that it is not an accurate replacement. Although both Trumpet and Cornet are valve tools with height valves and BB versions have the same range, their sound is different. Jean Baptiste Arban, French toOrnetic, who wrote the first Cornet instruction book, also composed a series of solos for the instrument. Herbert Lincoln Clarke folded for Cornet and played it.
