What is Cravat?
Cravat is the predecessor of a modern tie and in modern use you can refer to the tie as Cravat. We owe it to Croatian, who commonly wore silk or cotton scarves tied under the collar in the 17th century. The name is in fact corruption choat , the French term for Croats.
The scarves wearing Croatation were part of the normal wear of the battle and the French were recorded in the German 30 -year war. King Louis XIV especially fell in love with Cravat in secret interviews to perform French control over Croatia. In fact, Louis was unsuccessful in these interviews and the Croatian conquered him from a fashionable perspective. He quickly adopted Cravat for court and increased his popularity in many large European countries.
Most of the first styles were much shorter than modern ties and was almost always white. But when England accepted Cravat for wear, there were many changes. They changed the saddle and color of these scarves and created numerous styles of their bindings.Symbolism has become attributed to the wearing of different colors of cruat, which can still be observed when one wears ties. In fact, the term "tie" is a simply shortened version of the phrase "for Cravat".
Modern tie design is owed by Jesse Langsdorf, the American in the textile industry that took Crava, cut into three pieces and again supported it easier to bind it. Since then, the links of many lengths, colors and sizes have always been popular as part of business or formal clothing for men. However, the patterned tie hides the vagaries or character defects of the person.
Since the arrival of a color tie, certain colors have special meanings. For example, blue is associated with whole, peace and eternity. Red is associated with both Love and Rage, although in recent years the red bonds have been associated with an energy suit and the color of energy. Black is often worn on the funeral, even if afterWhich is worn with a lighter shirt, it can be easily considered elegant.
Yellow Cravat can be associated with youth, entertainment and hope. Green, on the other hand, is often either considered an environmentally friendly statement or an expression of wisdom. Brown, which seems to be reasonably subdued, is actually considered representative for earth and sexuality.
