What is the dachshund?

Dachshund is a breed of a dog that is known for its long body and curved short legs that keep it low to the ground. He has a cone -shaped head, a mouth that narrows and spoils his ears. The term dachshund translates in German as a "weed rattle" and varieties usually have a short, smooth coat, which is usually black or tanned, but it can also be a wide range of other colors. They are also known for its well -developed sense of smell. They were bred to be small, but fearless, so they could dig up to get to the badger and then fought with them. They are usually very friendly companions and create an ideal pet for homes with children and can adapt to many different environments.
