What is DoveCote?
DoveCote or DoveCot is a structure designed to place pigeons, doves and other small birds. Numerous examples of historical tops can be found in various places around the world and modern DoveCotes are used to place racing pigeons and other hobbies. These structures provide a safe environment for pigeons in the nest and also create a clear home base for birds that encourages them to return home.
Historically, pigeons and doves were important foods and provided eggs and meat. They were also used to transferring news and their fertilizes were a great form of fertilizer.
