What is a dwarf brush?

Dwarf, also known as "Little John", is a smaller version of the brush, an evergreen shrub from the new South Wales in Australia. It is characterized by red flowers, which are almost exactly similar to brushes used to clean children's bottles. The dwarf brush is a low shrub that grows to approximately three feet (0.9 meters), with a spread of up to five feet (1.5 meters). The permanent plant is best successful in southern tropical and arid zones. Many gardeners prefer the use of natural landscaping that birds will visit instead of using feeders. Bees and butterflies also love nectar flowers. Pollen on the tip of the red bars gives the brushes a spotted look and can worsen allergies. At the end of the brush there is a cluster of small green petals and small seeds can remain in the plant for several years inside the brownish fruit on the plant before relaxation.

Many people like to maintain a larger version as a tree by trimming the lower branches to increase the effect of the crying. The dwarf brush is a stronger rounded shrub, which makes it a good locking device. Do not write dirty flowers or leaves into the litter areas such as a terrace or pool.

This small shrub also works well on the landscape border as a ground cover. It should be regularly connected until the roots are well introduced. The mulch around the base of the plant helps to maintain moisture when the weather is extremely dry, and twice the annual fertilizer application will give it valuable nutrients. Re -evaluation causes the leaves to yellow. The dwarfbottlebrush is a slow grower, so pruning the plant is not recommended.

For homeowners without a yard or place for growing shrubs or permanent plants, a dwarf brush is an ideal container.Sometimes it is used in bonsai, Japanese artistic form, in which there are very small trees grown containers and their branches trained to take over pleasant shapes. Plants grown on the container will need more water than plants in the ground. Promotion is best performed by hardwood management to maintain the dwarf characteristic. The plant is susceptible to nematodes, but otherwise it is quite durable in the right climate.
