What is dwarf papyrus?
Dwarf papyrus is grass similar to ornamental plants that are suitable for water gardens and pots. It is originally from Egypt and Sudan. It is permanent in many areas with warmer climate and annual in the colder climate further north, where temperatures are cooler than 30 degrees Fahrenheit (minus-1 degree Celsius).
This plant grows in clusters, stems are 8-39 inches (20-100 cm) and 0.08-0.25 inches (2-6 mm) wide. The flowers are inconspicuous and grow in 100-250 beams or rain, 2-6 inches (5-16 cm) long with sides and are greenish yellow, in summer it changes brown bronze color. Its fruit appears to be brown nuts.
Papyrus dwarf is very heat resistant. It needs good light, full or partial sun to grow. It is used in normal to wet conditions, usually planted in small pools or ponds, as well as in pots and bathtubs, where it is recommended that the lower drain hole is connected.

The papyrus dwarf has high water needs, and most experts believe it is almost impossible to excessively water dwarf papyrus.
