What is a flushing diaper?

For many new parents, the choice of diaper was traditionally thrown between washable substance and one -off plastic. Flying diapers are considered better for the environment because they can be washed and reused, while disposable plastic diapers are considered more comfortable to use and cheaper. In fact, the fabric and disposable plastic diapers have their disadvantages in terms of the environment. A new form of a plastic -free diaper called flush diaper or green diaper has recently become a more environmentally friendly alternative to fabric or plastic diapers. Instead, the flushing insert is made of nylon material covered with polyurethane plastic. Traditional diapers usually use polyvinyl chloride or PVC in their inserts. These nylon lines have images built into them to easily remove them during changes. Strong waste can be thrown into the toilet, while the wet lining can be re -rinsed and used.

The outer layer of flush diapers is made of renewable form of material called Viscose Rayon, especially harvested from trees. This layer is naturally waterproof and decreases in a landfill within a few months. The Rayon viscose can be colored with a number of colors, including the distinctive green. The outer layer of rinse diapers looks more like a cloth diaper than a one -off plastic cover.

The absorption layer of flush diapers is also responsible ecologically. Extremely absorbent chemicals called sodium polyacrylate or sap is combined with a natural wooden product called fluff of pulp to provide maximum absorption for both types of human waste. SAP absorption crystals soak urine, while fluff pulp absorbs and contains additional waste. Both SAP and Fluff Pulp are completely biodegradable.

Although supported as a flushing diaper, the "green diaper" can also be discarded with PRavidal waste after rinse of solid waste. You can also add a wet but not soiled diaper to the compost pile and eventually convert it to a fertilizer source. The inner lining and outer shell can be rinsed with a standard toilet, along with any materials they contain. However, the absorption layer should not remain in the toilet for a long time, as SAP crystals will continue to absorb water and become non -fulfilling.

Finding a permanent offer of flushable or green diapers can be a challenge in some areas, but can be ordered through some environmental websites or directly from the manufacturer. Rumorry diapers do not require any additional cleaning services and do not affect the landfill for hundreds of years. There may be some learning curves when parents learn how to remove the inserts and wash them without the incident, but overall the use of green diapers should help reduce the amount of natural resources needed to produce, clean and dispose of traditional diapers.
