What is a forced air system?

Forced air system is a heating method or cooling of the internal climate of the building. As the name suggests, the forced air system literally forces heated or chilled air to the building, causing the temperature of the internal rise to rise or decrease as needed. Forced air systems are quite common in many areas because they provide an effective means of climate control of the building.

In the heart of the forced air system, the furnace is and when it is equipped, the air conditioning unit. In buildings with forced air systems, a number of pipes and air registers attract internal air and direct it to heating or air conditioning unit. When the air is drawn into the furnace, it is heated and pushed back into the room rooms with a blower. During the heating function of the system, the system will continue to draw the cold inner air, heating in the furnace and blowing the heated air back into the building.

The cooling of the Terior Climate of the building is very similar to the climate of the heating process. OutThe thirty air is stretched by a series of pipes and registers to the air conditioning unit. Once the heat is removed from the air, the chilled air is then transported back through the forced air system into the interior of the building.

While there are several different types of air -conditioning systems, most systems work by directing warmer inner air on a series of metal fin, pipes or coils containing refrigerant, such as freon. As warm air flows through the system, heat in the air is transmitted to a cold refrigerant in metal fins, pipes or coils. The heated refrigerant then passes through the system to allow the heat to be distracted, while the chilled refrigerant occupies its place in fins, pipes or coils. As with the heating process, the air conditioning process will continue such a long -term air system is on.

the most forced air systems are operated using thermostatu. In many ways, the thermostat is the brain of the forced air system. In its simplest form, the thermostat allows the user to manually turn on or off the air conditioning system and also allows the user to retain in advance what temperature the heating or cooling system should turn on or off automatically. Some advanced thermostats provide functions such as the ability to program the system to turn it on and off at specific times of the day and at specific temperatures.
