What is Fox Snake?

Two species of North American snakes are commonly known as Fox Snakes. The spotted snake is named as such because of the musk aroma, similar to the fox, which it emits in danger. Snake Eastern Fox and Had Western Fox are found in selected northern and medium -west areas of the United States.
