What is the blower?

6 Home heater or furnace, which uses forced hot air, consists of burner, plenum and furnace blowers. In the typical system of forced hot air, the burner is fired with oil, natural gas or wood. The air, which is heated by the burner, is collected in the plunum. The hot air is then forced or blown from the plunum throughout the house at the furnace blower. Forced hot water heating systems have a pump for supplying water, heated by a burner, into various rooms. Steam heating systems use the expanding nature of steam, again heated by the burner, to supply heat to radiators throughout the house. The forced hot air has the advantage that it is the fastest supply of heat, but is also somewhat less clean and due to the accumulation of the accumulation of carbon monoxide, a more dangerous system.

Another method of home heating is electric heat. The electric heating system supplies heat, without the need for the burner or the furnace blower, through the electrically heated loops in each room of the house.

Typical home heaters, whether steam, forced hot air, forced hot water or electric, work in the same way. Adjustable thermostat, usually located near the center of the house, senses the temperature inside the house. It then sends an electrical pulse to the heating burner, which is ignited and the heat expands, blows, draws or electrically supplied throughout the house.

As soon as the thermostat senses that the temperature in the household has reached its preset level, it sends another pulse to the burner to turn off. The Blower Pec will usually act in the forced hot airmune system for another minute or two, forcing the last heated air from pressure to the house and then closing.

Blower furnace is usually part of a heating system that works the most difficult, so the part is most often repaired or replaced. Electric motor and fan are often the only parts of the furnace that move during the heating process. In older furnaces the fan is usually ŘThe banded belt, while newer furnaces use a centrifugal fan without a belt.

Repair and replacement of the furnace blower can often be achieved by the average house owner. The repair usually includes the replacement of motor bearings and drive belts in older blowers and only bearings in centrifugal flowers.
