What is a garter set?

Garter set consists of a wedding garter that the bride and groom keep as a memento, and another garter that the groom throws during the traditional throwing of wedding garters. Two garters in the garter set agree, not if the same, and usually reflect the theme of the wedding through their colors or design. The garter set can also contain attached ornaments such as spells, small items, fabric flowers, crystals and beads. Given that pieces of bride's dress were often crushed and distributed to guests for good luck, the garter was created as a spare token of the bride's clothes so that her dress could remain intact and be preserved as a monument. Originally it was a tradition that the bride threw a garter; Today, however, it is usually a groom who throws a garter on a group of only male guests. As with a guest who catches the bride, a male guest who catches the garter, is said to be another man of a single group to marry.

original wedding garters represented a relatively simple design, but like most modern wedding accessories have become more and more difficult and are now available in a wide range of styles. The most common or classic garter design usually contains white lace, ribbon and a touch of blue to meet the requirement of a "blue" bride. A garter set can also contain the "official" colors of the wedding, which also reflect on such objects such as wedding invitations, bridesmaid dresses, decorations and wedding kindness.
