What is the glazing?

Glazing rod is a horizontal or vertical cross that holds the windows on the spot. The discharge rods can be made of wood, metal or plastic. Before modern technology made it possible to produce large uniform leaves of glass, the necessary glazing was necessary to produce large windows. In modern architecture and design, they are mostly used for aesthetic purposes.

From at least the Middle Ages, people use glass in windows. Glass is ideal for windows because it can be made to be transparent or translucent, release light while still maintaining elements. Glass is generally an insulator, so it keeps heat and cold, or vice versa. Small glass boards were much easier, but resulted in small windows. To solve the problem, pieces of wood were used to hold several glass in the window, allowing greater victories.

The glazing bar, however, came up with its own problem host. Soon the glazing was made of wood, which over time of the axis and bending. This could result in the worst broken board. In the best pRomanly left cracks between wood and glass that released elements. Building owners had to have Windows periodically for years after installation to repair the damage caused by deformation.

As technology has advanced, glazing has also improved. In the end, it could be made of materials that would not be filed, such as plastic or metal. Although this change has occurred, glass production technology has also developed.

In modern times, the glazed rod is usually unnecessary because it is possible to produce huge glass boards without much problems. Some people still prefer glazing bars for their aesthetic attraction. They break a large flat glass, which makes it more windowwisually interesting and obvious that the birds will fly into the windows and think they are open spaces. The harvesting rods can also be used in historical houses or houses that have a historical feeling.

modern glazing often do not addNo structural integrity into the window. Either they are inserted between two glass boards or overlap on a large piece of glass. Bow windows or curved skylights can be created by glazing that curls.
