What is the lawn?
Grass carp or CTenophayngodon Idella is a freshwater fish belonging to the Cyprinidae family. It is originally from China and southern Russia, but has been imported to many other countries and is now located throughout the world. In the United States, it is often called White Amur, an attempt to avoid negative aspects that many associate with carp. These fish have been imported into many areas to eat invasive plants. They can be identified by their elongated bodies, silver-green color and large scales. Unlike other carp species, Carp has no spines on their cheeks and have no spine on their back fins. They live on average 10 to 12 years, although they can live much longer in some areas. In fact, larger carp grass consumes far lesses than smaller, making younger fish more convenient for plants water control.
Grass Carp has a greedy appetite and consumes more than 40 for every daya cent of their weight in plants and will eat many different types of plants. They were introduced to more than 20 countries in an effort to control invasive water weeds and have become invasive in many areas, including the United States. As a result, it is often required for any imported carpale to be a triploid, which means they cannot reproduce.
These types of carp live in large bodies slowly moving or still water, including lakes, ponds, marshes and large rivers. However, friction occurs in a rapidly developing water, because the eggs are heavy and sink and die in still water. The water that moves quickly keeps the eggs above the water as they are carried down and keep them alive for 20 to 40 hours to which they take them inside.
If these fish overtake a water formation, they can destroy the life of plants and houses of rare snails and other invertebrates. In addition, a large carp in the air can jump up to 10 feet (3 m) and caused serious injury to the yachtsmen. They can also cause considerableA decrease in the amount of water birds and native fish. Once the Grass Carp becomes established in water, it can be difficult to eliminate them and it is not easy for fishermen to catch it because they are very careful and remain in remote areas. The bait, such as corn, dough balls and earthworms, proved to be successful in catching these solitary fish.
