What is a tree bench in the hallway?
The
bench in the hallway is a piece of furniture designed for use in the hallway or entrance. Its design has a bench seat, often with storage space under it, and a high rear plate with coat hooks, mirror or other decorative and functional features. At the top of the rear panel, it is often equipped with a shelf or a cubic hole for storing commonly used objects, and some of the designs of benches in the corridor include wicker baskets that fit into cubes to function as sockets. These units are particularly useful in the entrances where people normally sit to take off or dress their shoes. The bench seat is very often suspended at the back to allow the user to pull the seat to access the storage space below it and the seat may or may not be upholstered for the next pillow and comfort. The back plate is very often solid wood and Tom can or may not be decoratively carved or otherwise built. The full length mirror is a common addition to the rear deck on the Hallway Tree bench, although it is not always a function. AnyMirrors can also be half -life or shorter and some benches may not have any mirror at all.
It is very common to find coats connected to the back plate for storing coats, scarves and other clothing. These hooks are often present instead of a mirror, because any coats hanging from the hooks would block the view of the mirror. Other designs are responsible for this problem by placing hooks on both sides of the mirror rather than through the backboard span. These hooks can also be on the side of the back plate to further expand the usefulness of the unit.
Shelvesmay or may not be present on the bench of the corridor tree. If they are present, they are usually built over the upper part of the rear panels of hats, gloves and other objects. The shelves can be a simple, direct unit, or it can be a series of cubes in which the items can be stored or can be placed baskets as sockets. Some benches do not have shelves at allAnd they decided that the upper part of the unit was a mirror, hooks for coats or simply bare wood.
