What is an element of a kettle?

The kettle element is part of an electric kettle that actually changes the electricity to heat, thus warming the water in the kettle. The element is generally placed on the bottom of the kettle. Some teapots use elements that resemble pipes and pass through the bottom of the container. Other patterns use flat plate elements that directly heat the bottom of the kettle. Both types of elements may eventually fail and may require periodic cleaning and simple maintenance.

Electricity is used to generate heat by gathering through the resistor. The resistor allows the electric current to pass, but as its name suggests, it prevents smooth current flow. When the electric current is forced to overcome resistance, part of the power of electric current in the form of heat is released. In the electric kettle, the current passes through the kettle, which is essentially a large resistor, and this process generated for the need to increase the water temperature.
