What is a leaf frog?

common terms leaf frogs, horned frog and frog litter are often used to describe many types of frogs of the genus Megophrys. Most species belonging to this family are originally from Southeast Asia. They are generally small, carnivorous frogs who usually hunt hidden in the debris of the forest floor and the assault of prey. It is known that species in the family Megaphyrs feed on insects and spiders, small mammals and other frogs, even members of the same species. Most types of leaves of leaves are similar in assembly, with fine legs and underwater, wide bodies and some species have sharp corner replacements above their eyes, which give them the name of the horned frogs. Other species are considered prosperous. While different types of megophyrs may have different physical properties, all leaves of leaves tend to share some common traits. For example, the average leaf frog of any kind is colored so that it can easily mix at the forest bottom of its natural habitat. Most types of leaves have fat, strong heads and torso with fine legs. These animals nemoHou jump far, so they usually travel in a explosion of small hops.

typical frog litter, leaves of leaves or horned frog is carnivorous, feeding spiders, insects, rodents and smaller frogs. These frogs generally escape predators in almost the same way they find prey, by remaining motionless among the wreckage of the forest floor. Many species are reportedly invisible when it does not move.

Some frogs of the litter are night, while others remain active at night and day. Most species prefer subtropical, slightly cold and humid habitats. The frogs of the Megophyrs are considered the most common in Malaysia and the Philippines, as well as throughout the southeast of Asia. It seems that most of the forest areas in lowland areas and river valleys inhabit.

There is not much known about mating and reproduction between leaves of leaves. Most species attract friends with one note, a penetrating speaker. Leaves of leaves usually travel to the edge of waterto join and lay eggs there. After mating a female frog usually attaches eggs to a flooded or partially flooded stone or logo. Leaf Frog Tads usually thrive in calm waters, where they can feed with microscopic forms of life, which often occur on the surface.
