What is a postal slip?

The postal slip is a slip in a large building designed to suit the post office. Usually, postal slides appear in especially tall buildings, where traveling to the lower floors to find a mailbox or a postal room could become difficult very quickly. Classically, the postal slip has several slots on each floor where they are located in places that are suitable for residents and users of the building. In many regions of the world, a classic postal slip was replaced by a mailbox located in the hall of the building, which forced the inhabitants to dare to decrease the post office. In older buildings, these slides reflect the period when the building, among other things, offered services such as washing and buying food. The residents of the building usually pay compulsory annual fees to have access to the provision of services at the other end of the slip, from the collection of garbage to the delivery of the mail. In order to send something in an e -mail slip, the population or user usually ensures that it is properly stamped and sealed, iWhen a building that processes mail for only one company can be dropped and submitted by a franking machine before it is sorted for delivery.

In addition to being used to postpone mail designed for places outside the building, some buildings also allow internal delivery via postal slip. In this case, there are sometimes two chutes, one for internal delivery and one for external delivery. Internal delivery is usually offered free of charge as part of a package of Sorting and Delivery for a building. For a local post in the city can also be provided with a slip of the post office, while the inhabitants need to go outside the building outside the Municipal Post.

Due to concerns about the spread of fire many cities have banned the construction of postal slip in new buildings. Titses provide a large chimney for the design and historically fed the vicious fires at some heights. Older buildings with postal slipIt uses its chutes, although many have sewn their slip because of the large volume of mail that must be processed, and since the post office has generally become much more expensive, making emails more efficient in an effective way.
