What is Marlin?
Marlin is a beloved sports fish and is often classified into two categories: Pacific and Atlantic Marlin. Both oceans have specific Marlins breeds - striped, black and Pacific blue marlina inhabit the Pacific Ocean and Atlantic Blue and White Marlins occupy the Atlantic Ocean. There are extreme physical differences between five Marlin subgroups, including weight, length and brands, but biologically are similar. They are equipped with long, elegant bodies and a top account that closes small, sharp teeth. For many fishermen, Marlin is the primary choice of game fish, due to its intimidating size, defensive nature, speed and beauty, making it a valuable trophy fish.
The basic structure of marlin is strongly performed by a series of basic fins. Marlins have two dorsal fins protruding from the back, two anal fins protruding from under their bodies, one pectoral fins on each side of the body near the gill cover, two PE, two pelvic Fins lower and back than pectoral fins and caudal finwho closes his charming body. Their fins and bone structure contribute to their speed, which represents a challenge for their kidnappers and increases competition in sports fishing.
Striped and white Marlin has a smaller size than their counterparts. Their average weight of £ 70-200 (about £ 31-91) can be impressive for cod fishermen, but not compared to the weight of blue marlin, which often exceeds £ 1,000 (453 kg). Marlin, depending on its breed, can reach a length of almost 20 feet (6 m). Its weight can be attributed to its diet, which includes a diverse appetite for countless fish. Marlins usually feed on smaller fish.
The difference in the color between the breeds is different and each Marlin has the appearance of the trademark. The blue Marlin has a shimmering electric blue -blue, which emits a silver reflection and at a speed of 70 miles (112 km) per hour, it can resemble a bullet underwater. Black marlIn has a shiny black upper half and a white lower abdomen. The striped Marlin has a famous unique look with a dark blue back, which gradually melts into a shiny gray underside and metal blue vertical stripes all the time. White Marlin has mostly pearl white body, but there is a small part of its upper back, which is a fluorescent blue with a glossy, powder blue vertical stripes.
female marlina are acutely larger than men and often are those weighing more than £ 1,000 (453 kg). Their mating season usually begins in mid -summer and lasts most of the autumn. Although much of their friction does not get into adulthood - a significantly small number of millions - their ability to breed two to three times an annual helps their existing number.
Marlins are purchased for human consumption and recipes range from grilled Marlin to Teriyaki Marlin. An increased effort to remove marlin from the market has been made because they were captured faster than they were able to reproduce. Their inabilityBeing kept on a farm, unlike many other fish shopped in a shop, has caused the fear that excessive fishing will lead to their extinction.
