What is a mud volcano?

Mud volcano, sometimes also called a volcano of gas oil, is a geological formation created by pushing pressure gases and mud from below the Earth's crust. Like igneous volcanoes, volcanoes may differ in size and the power of their eruptions is also quite diverse. The nation of Azerbaijan is known for its mud volcanoes, most of which are above oil deposits, but these volcanoes are found around the world. On the other hand, mud volcanoes are basically like steam openings for the planet: they explode with pressure gases, hot water and various sediments. Many also contain oil products that can cause volcano ignition. The breakthrough is formed by the accumulation of pressure under a relatively plastic rock. Antined tectonic activities are common places for mud volcanoes, and these volcanoes can also occur in oil sediments and in areas where volcanic activity occurs. Geothermal springs are often associated with mud volcanoes.

Some mud volcanoes exploded with relatively tame flows; The knee cone with a fine strand of mud is generally not very remarkable. Others explode more explosive and shoot the material into the air. This can be dangerous because the material can be hot or actually on fire, causing damage, whether it lands. Many mud volcanoes are also very stinking because they contain a variety of volatile gases.

Mud volcano is not the same as a mud pot, a mud mud that bubbles through it as water and gases rise. The mud pots do not explode and not gearly pose a security risk, although extremely hot or viscous mud pots can be dangerous for people who are rising into them. While mud pots are sometimes used for recreation, it is not suitable for mud volcanoes, because of the unpredictability of eruptions.

Sometimes a volcano mud forces evacuation. Extremely explosive eruptions or strong mud flow can lead officials to decide that neighboring popThe ulace should be moved to a safer place. For example, the inhabitants of Porong in Indonesia were evacuated in 2008 after a mud volcano, which has exploded much more active since 2006, flooded the roads and crushed the black goo across the surroundings.
