What is nudibranch?

Nudibranch is a sea gastropod in subordinate nudibranchia. There are more than 3,000 unique species of nudibranch, and many others are identified every year, which makes nudibranch among the most diverse marine organisms. They are also widespread; Nudibranchs can be found in shallow coastal waters around the world, with the exception of extremely cold areas. Like other slugs, nudibranchs are molluscs without a shell, but there are many other slugs in the sea. In fact, it would be possible to consider a wide range of animals and most of the scientific community avoids the use of this term because it has become so general that it basically makes no sense. "Nudibranch" is much more descriptive.

Nudibranchs have a number of interesting features. The first is their color, which is often very decorated and also very clear. Nudibranchs come in a wide range of colors, from hot pink and yellow to zebra striped, and they are the inhabitants of shallow and tidal pools. Nudibranchs also develop growth from their bodies, toThey are like soft spine, and are able to store poison, stinging cells and toxins from their prey in these growth so that when bitten or attacked, they can fight.

The ability to restore and re -use potentially harmful components of their prey makes nudibranch unique. Most animals would die or were extremely ill if they consumed a wide range of poisonous creatures, but nudibranch developed not only with their strokes, but to use them again.

In Latin, "nudibranch" reflects into "naked gills" and refers to the fact that these gastropods breathe through the skin, rather than through specialized gills. They also have a very simple Nervous Systems and Trasive Tracts, as well as other molluscs, and they are simultaneous hermaphrodites that have the sexual properties of both sexes at the same time. Most nudibranchs prefer to search for partners rather than about the fertHanking, laying joints of fertilized eggs in areas where young will be scattered after hatching.

Some aquariums that focus on sea animals have nudibranchy exposed, because many people are clearly colored by sea creatures. They can also be seen in situ along the many coasts of the world and, thanks to the fact that they inhabit shallows, no special equipment is required. When tidepooling to look for nudibranchy and other interesting creatures, people should remember to watch the ocean, because the waves of sneakers can pose a significant danger to undesirable.
