What is the packaged terminal air conditioning?
Packaged terminal air conditioning (PTAC) is a separately contained heating and cooling devices commonly used in smaller areas such as rooms in houses, apartments and hotels. Larger commercial air -conditioning units consist of separate sections of the capacitor and vapors, which are often placed apart at a significant distance. Ptac combines parts of the air conditioner in one package, which is usually mounted over the outer wall. This type of mounting arrangement places the coil, fan and controls with the capacitor coil and the compressor on the outside.
