What is a pixie bob?
Pixie Bob is a breed of cat, which is very rare and unique because it is assumed that it has a wild bobcat inheritance. Carol Ann Brewer of Washington is attributed to the development of Pixie Bob breed through mating domestic cats with wild bobcats. In 1995, Breed Pixie Bob Breed was accepted by the International Association Association (TICA), the second largest register of cats in the world when it was registered by Brewer. In 1999, North America Cat Fancy on its cover Pixie Bob was presented. Most Pixie Bob breeders are still in the northwest Pacific, although this breed becomes more popular, for example in Sweden. Pixie beans are large, muscular and usually have a face that looks very similar to Bobcat. Many of them are also polydactyl, which means that they have more fingers compared to home cat. Regular domestic cats have four fingers on each front leg and five fingers on each back, while pixie bob could have up to sevenfingers on each leg.
While the pixie beans participating in the exhibition districts must have tails, it could have a pixie bob that could have a longer tail. The colors of the pixie bob coat are in a wide range of brown from gold to reddish brown. Coat patterns can be seen or striped. The coat is a double type with a thick background and a pixie bob coat can be either short or medium length. Eye colors for pixie bob include gold, green and golden brown.
It was known that some pixie beans were trained to walk on a leash and many are considered to be behavior similar to dogs to traveling with their owners. It is generally said that Bob Pixie is an intelligent and quiet breed that likes to be around their owner. It is important to realize that pixie beans are not pure bobcats and were kept like internal domestic cats.
