What is a powerful chord?
In music terminology, the Power Chord is a shortened version of the conventional chord that musicians play on a number of different instruments. The Power Akord consists only of the basic comment of the chord and the fifth, where the conventional chord also adds the third scale note. Although this kind of chord can be played on any tool, this modern variant of chords has been created for performance on "electric" instruments, mainly on electric guitar, where amplification and sound effects change the sound of the tool.
In terms of the above notes, those who want to understand the chord must know how chords are arranged from the octave. The octave is a scale of eight notes that brings a whole circle of progression. In the most common example, the key is C, the octave is the procedure from C to the note above it, D, and then, moving up the stairs, K e, f, g, A, B and up to the high C where it was eight.
Within this described octave, each step will receive a number that corresponds to this note. For example in the key C, a conventional chord c will consistFrom note C, notes E and G Note. On the other hand, the power chord type will only include notes C and G.
Experienced musicians point out that Akord Power sounds a little different from full chord. In the most common use of Power chords, however, a full chord does not really get the same advantage of the added note, mainly because through a reinforced, improved sound, a shortened chord may sound full enough and strongly without another remark. Power chords can also be easier and more versatile.
The most common example of the use of chord is an electric guitar. Here the player can use the bottom two chains to influence performance, which is easier than the whole hand to create a conventional chord. For electric guitar it has another advantage for energy chord, in the fact that with a full natural open chord, type of specific fingering structure that is generally used on acousticKé guitar, tends to sound so good to the electric guitar. Open chords may sound fuzzy and too complicated, especially with guitar effects. Power Akord with its simpler construction may sound better.
