What is a prickly plot?

Pichlá plot is the name of about 32 different species in the poppy family under the family Argemone , which grows mainly in the mainland United States and on the island of Hawaii. The flowers bloom in white or yellow colors and leaves and the flower stems are covered with prickly spikes that give the prickly poppy its name. Of the 32 species, the most famous are the most famous Argemone Munita, Argemone Mexican, and Argemone Corymbosa . Plants in the poppy family are recognized by red, yellow or white juice similar to the sap they produce, and large, colored flowers from four to six petals. Before flowering, the upper part of the seed bow is filled with holes through which the seeds are released. The most common of the various prickly poppy is Argemone Mexicana. This version of the plant comes from Mexico and Azteky was called "nutrition of dead". They used a plant in ritual victims made by many Aztec gods. The plant was also used for its mild sedative effects when its parts were smokedy or mixed into tea.

Argemone Mexicana has light yellow leaves that can darken near the center. The oil found inside the petals also occupies a yellow shade. The leaves resemble large, pointed thorns and oil is considered toxic when ingested. Thorn protrudes help to discourage animals from consuming this dangerous flower. Some healers still use parts of the plant to help treat health conditions from jaundice to malaria, although concerns arise from the possibility of accidental poisoning during treatment that requires the victim to drink toxic oil of the plant.

Another common prickly poppy is Argemone Munita . It came from California and spread to the surrounding desert areas. It grows high with a thorn of similar protrusions that come from a lengthy green stem. Blooms white with a bright yellow center.

Argemone Corymbosa , the third known type of PichlavIt occurs in the southwestern region of the United States. It also has white petals with yellow center. Unlike Argemone Munita , which has traditionally had six petals, Argemone corymbosa has only four petals. His stem and leaves usually seem softer and less pointed than the leaves Argemone Munita.
