What is cleanliness?
Purity Ball is a concept developed by Randy Wilson and his wife Rita and the first ball took place in 1998. It would be a mistake to describe the ball as a typical dancing of the father's father, even if it occupies a part of the night. Instead, it is also a night when fathers are promised to clean and protect their daughters by acting as good fathers, like moral people and as an excellent husband. This promise is often based on a Christian and the concept of a ball of purity has triggered numerous copies, especially in evangelical Christian communities. In fact, many girls participating in the ball believe it is part of the promise, but Wilson and his wife claim that the intention was not part of the original design. Instead, they both say, as in the episode The Tyra Banks Show Balls recognizes the extreme importance of fathers in the education of daughters. They claim that most girls who are lost in adolescent years or tend to promise is done as a result of abandoning or a broken relationship with the father. Instead of the girls to stick to these events, withDads have committed that they will be faithful to their daughters and help them protect and lead them through adolescence and when they marry.
While the event can be clean in the intention, it regularly inspires a relatively negative response in the press. Some call the idea of fathers who have committed themselves to their daughters so close to incest, especially when the fathers also committed themselves to regular "data" with their daughters or considered themselves a lover when the girl was married or engaged. Others are afraid that daughters think that the ball is to bring their virginity to their fathers. Wilson insists that it is not the intention of cleanliness of the ball, and instead suggests that it is time to strengthen and commit their daughters that they will be good and kind fathers. By setting an example that honest and real men are hoping girls will look for the same qualities when they choose spouses.
typical cleaning ball, at least those set upWilsons, includes dances, dinner evening and then a cleaning promise of fathers. Girls dance with their dads overnight and then puts white roses on the cross as a symbolism of this promise of purity. In the evening, it is very formal, and the dads, stepfather or foster fathers visit all their daughters, from the youngest to the oldest.
For Wilson, a cleaning ball is a symbol, as fathers should interact daily with their daughters. Fathers should not only promise cleanliness, but also promise the guardianship of their daughters, the willingness to involve seed parents and the importance of the remaining pure in their lives by adherence and living moral (as defined by Christianity) lifestyle. Many people celebrate these balls as a means of father and daughters to confirm their excellent relationships, and the popularity of the ball of purity has spread from many places in the US to several European countries.
