What is pygmy chameleon?
pygmy chameleon is a small lizard origin from tropical forests and savannas in Africa. Named for its small size, adult pygmy chameleon on average 3 to 4 inches (7.6 to 10 centimeters) in length. The color ranges from white to the color of fallen leaves and includes different shades of green, brown, gold and orange. There are several different species, including bearded, Thiel, Kenyan and hopeless pygmic chameleons. Some other types are pink, montane, horned and spectral pygmy chameleons.
All pygmy chameleons have the ability to change their color to mix with the surroundings. When they are emphasized, they make buzzing sound, a characteristic that could be developed to scare predators. These little reptiles spend most of their time on the ground, vulnerable by becoming prey, so their ability to change color is generally their only protection.
Some pygmy chameleons show other properties unique to their kind. Fnebo example, the heartless pygmy chameleon has the sameBrown color as a dead leaf with dark lines reminiscent of veins. This species is slightly larger than other pygmy chameleons, with a length of maturity between 5 and 7 inches (12.7 and 18 centimeters).

female pygmy chameleons are generally larger than men, with wider, more rounded bodies and shorter tails. They reproduce sexually and then a few weeks after fertilization kick the hole and lay eggs. Each woman can reproduce approximately four times a year and laid up to six eggs in each clutch.
