What is Finch?
Red-headed Finch is a small, tropical bird with green wings, red head and neck and red tail. This is also called Red-Face or Red-Hrduated FINCH parrot and is a member of the Finestry of Erythora , which includes about a dozen different kinds of Finch parrot. In the wild, this Finch is live food, such as insects and worms, as well as fruits, nuts and berries and flocks in groups 15 to 20. They are a monomorphic species, which means that a man and a woman have the same feathers. As a result, sex is difficult both hatchlings and even fully ripe red -headed Finch. Compared to the original grassy green color of the red -owned Finche, sea vegetables are more gray -green and can have an orange head and neck. Pied is a mutation that has a significant yellow or white plumage. The Pied Sea-Green has a combination of both colored feathers and gray-green feathers.
Finches red-headed are sexually mature around 12 months and steam at an early age. In this case, these birds are not happy alone and must be held with a friend or in a colony. A typical pair can produce and increase three couplings of four to six eggs per year. It is not uncommon for couples to behave more often, but it is often discouraged by the breeder, because it can exhaust the woman and affect the health of hatchling.
Before laying eggs, both birds will build a nest. The woman is particularly effective, works quickly and energetically. After the nest construction, the eggs are laid and incubated for about two weeks. Hatchlings grow quickly, becoming independent of three to four weeks and start flying at about the same time.
This small Finch is highly active. In many cases, Subdued Red-Headed is ill. They enjoy investigating their environment and spend most of their time by exploring their cage, especially its floor. Their curious and cheerful personality makes them popular as pets.
Even if they are theseBirds very common as pets, flocks can be found in the wild. Red-headed Parrot Finch is located on tropical islands in open areas near forests. They are mostly located on New Caledonia, an island in the Pacific Ocean off the coast of Australia.
