What is the shark of the river?

Shark of the Greeks, if someone knows, is a kind of shark that lives in freshwater rivers. All six known species of the Shark River belong to the family Glyphis , which is part of the Carcharhinidae family. The sharks of the river remain one of the great secrets of nature; Only a handful of sharks on the river were captured, and few of them were not observed in their natural environment. Scientists assume that most shark species are likely to be threatened due to rare observations.

as members of the Carcharhinidae family share many of the same features of their relatives of the ocean. They have small, beady eyes and their upper set of teeth is wide and serrated. Their nose is short and rounded and the nostrils spread apart. They also have prominent dorsal fin. The most resemblance to Whaler sharks, who belong to the family carcharhinus . Whale sharks have a lower set of teeth that protrude even when the jaw is closed and have an adrual dorsal fin, which is about half the size of the second backTenní fins.

Overall, there are six documented species of the family glyphis : glyphis gangeticus , better known as a shark gangs; glyphis glyphis , known as Speartooth Shark; glyphis siamensis , known as the shark of the Irrawady River; glyphis species and; glyphis type B, also known as the shark of the Borneo River; and glyphis type C. Ganga and Irrawady sharks are named for the rivers in which they were documented. The species of the Glyphis Glyphis River have been documented in more rivers throughout Australia.

The ecology and habits of river sharks are known very little due to rare observations and rare documentation. It is assumed that the sharks of the river are primarily eaters, although it is not certain. There is nothing essential to breeding habits.

Observations

are so little in between and far between the fact that at one point was not a shark gangsSee about a century. The officially documented observation of the Shark Speartooth is even more rare. The species of the shark river are considered to be endangered and some such as Spearooth and IRAWADDY, perhaps extinct - although it is very likely that such sharks could be seen, but mistaken for other types of sharks.

The Bull Shark - also from the Carcharhinidae family - is sometimes confused for the shark of the river. It is known that the bull sharks float on miles on freshwater streams where they can live for years. However, the main habitat of the bull shark and the reproductive soil is in the ocean.
