What is a projected terrace?
Screen terrace usually adjacent to the house and provides another live or entertainment space in the warm months. Rather than walls and windows, the projected terrace is usually surrounded by a railing and covered with a roof of some kind. Then the screen between the roof and the railing will be suspended and provides protection against pests such as insects. Because the space is open to elements, it often remains cold in warm conditions due to shading and susceptible to the Christmas screens. Screen terraces are generally popular in warm climate, where insects and other pests also prevail. The first is the position of a terrace adjacent to a house or other building. This is usually achieved by laying the cement plate through a properly prepared bed of sand, gravel or other substrate materials. Patio can also be made of tiles, slate, composites or other things. The usefulness of a simple terrace, such as this, can be limited by the presence of excess sun, rain or pests.
The next step in the construction of the projected terrace is usually to cover the board with a roof. It can be as simple as the awning or leaves of undulating steel or complex as the cover that mimics the roofing of the main building. After installation, this coverage can provide protection from the elements, allowing the terrace to stay dryer during the rain and colder during hot, sunny days.
To complete the projected terrace, the last step is often the installation of the screen itself. This may take the form of a network, nylon screening or any material suitable for maintaining local pests in a given area. This screen is usually installed between the railing and the roof, and the screen door is also suspended. This completes the projected terracery type of extension of the main house, which will tend to remain shaded, comfortable and protect from some elements outside.
In some parts of the world, the word "terrace" can refer to different belowThe structures. In countries like Australia, it can be used to describe virtually any kind of porch or balcony.
