What is a sleeping porch?

Sleeping porch is a closed deck or balcony that is well ventilated, often windows or screens on two or three sides and has one or more beds or similar furniture for sleeping in warm weather. Sleeping porch can be at any level and on any side of the house. These porches are often furnished to resemble a cottage or cabin. They can be used during the day as a place to relax, relax, read or otherwise enjoy themselves. Many people at that time, including many healthcare workers, believed that sleep in the fresh air could help alleviate respiratory problems such as tuberculosis. Many houses with one or more small sleeping pits were built in the cities on the other dam. These porches were usually not closed and contained only short railing or even no railing. There were houses in rural areas, such as farms, often performed large, closed sleeping porches on the ground floor, where the whole family could sleep during warmer weather.

On modern houses, sleeping porches are most often closed by screens or windows, especially in areas where mosquitoes and other mistakes are present. They are also large and can have space for several beds and other furniture. Modern sleeping porch is usually designed with regard to comfort and can have many soft pillows on beds and other furniture.

For many people, one of the attractions of sleeping porches is the sounds of the night. They could enjoy the hearing of the rain falling on the roof of the porch, chirping chirp, coyotes of howling or other sounds of nature. For other people, especially those in the mororated area, the sounds outside could prevent them from burning well, so they often use the plugs in the ears so that they can enjoy the cold night air without bothering the sounds.
