What is Slip n Slide®?

SLIP N SLIDE® was first produced in 1961 by the Wham-O company. It is a long and thin leaf of smooth plastic, which has a heat -sealed tubular fold on one side. The tube contains several small holes that spray water when the garden hose is connected. The water causes plastic slippery, which allows children to slip along the entire length of the leaf as it runs and immerses it. Slip n Slide® comes in many styles and samples.

Wave Rider® and Splash Factor ™ are two versions of the basic, one person slip n Slide®. These images have a bumper at the end of the inflatable bumper to prevent the user from slipping into the grass. The Splash Factor ™ has a sprinkler setting in an inflatable bumper that creates a small pool of water into which the user slips. Both these slides and slides are 18 feet long (5.4 m). Two users run and dive to the same tija in the competition to get to the end of the plastic first. These versions of Slip n Slide® are 16 feet long (4.8 m) and have a full line separatetwo stripes. Like other versions, they have a shallow splash pool at the end of the inflatable bumper.

Bounce 'n Splash Slip n Slides® have a padded track that the user can bounce when immersed. After sliding the length of padded plastic, she sprays into a large puddle of the water. The padded track allows more comfortable driving for younger children. This version of Slip n Slide® is 17 feet long (5.1 m).

For extra competitive children, Triple Racer ™ is an adrenaline rush. It has three stripes, allowing three users to run and dive into the race. The plastic is divided into three wide stripes with an inflatable bumper and a spraying pool at the end. It's 18 feet (5.4 m) long.

There are northern other versions of SLIP N SLIDE® available. Mega Shark, Spiral Plasher, Junior Elephant Bounce N Splash and Splash Tunnel ™ are fun for children. However, none of them is intended for children under five nEbo for more than twelve years.

Although Slip n Slide® provides long days of summer entertainment, it can also cause serious injuries if used incorrectly. It is designed for children from five to twelve years. Given their weight, it is known that older children and adults suffer from injuries and fractures of the neck, quadriplegia and paraplegia. This is because they can stop suddenly after running and jump on plastic. Never use these plastic slides near hills, cliffs, streets or concrete because there is a risk of injury or death.
