What is a spruce tree?
A spruce tree is a coniferous evergreen tree that comes from the family picea . About 35 different types of spruce trees grow in the northern hemisphere. It is known that these coniferous evergreen live in very old age and can grow extremely high, sometimes reaching a height of 200 feet (60.96 meters). Different types of spruce trees include the Norwegian spruce tree, a blue spruce tree, a white spruce tree and a black spruce tree. Smrky can also be found in dwarf versions. The dwarf spruce tends to grow slower and reaches heights of more than eight feet (2.44 meters).
