What is a striped bass?

Although most of their adult life is spent in salt water, striped bass is also able to live in fresh water. Whether in salt water or fresh water, this species bass is the carnivore of the highest level that will eat almost anything. Her diet includes mainly other fish, molluscs and large crustaceans.
