What is the solar bear?
The solar bear is the smallest of all species in the Bear Family. Most of these bears do not exceed 4.5 feet (about 1.4 m) and usually do not weigh more than £ 100 (about 45 kg). They get their name from the orange spots of the fur on their chest, which is shaped like the sun. The rest of the body is usually black to brown. Sun bears are also referred to as Malaysian Sun Bears and usually occur in the rainforests of Southeast Asia.
In the rainforest, the sun bears like to spend a lot of time in crowns. They can be seen either to look for food for food, or even rest in a forest canopy on beds that make leaves and twigs. Their long curved claws make it easier for them to climb trees and quickly travel through the forest. Sun bears are omnipotent and will eat many different types of plants and different small animals. Some people refer to these bears as honey bears because they tend to have such kindness has exceptionally long languages that help themwhen extraction from nests.
Unlike most other bear species, Sun bears are not hibernation. The climate of the rainforest is warm enough that hibernation is not necessary for their survival. These bears are also primarily night and do most of their hunt and other activities at night.
Scientists believe that the average bear Sun lives a monogam and maintains the same partner throughout his life. When Sun Sun is born, the father remains with the whole family. The period of pregnancy for the typical bear Sun is about 96 days and the chicks usually remain with their parents for up to two years. Most Sun bears will achieve sexual maturity at the age of three or four. If they live in captivity, most of these bears are expected to live up to 25 years.
It was difficult for scientists to study the solar bearishness of their loner nature and rarity in the wild. Deforestation and hunting probably had a serious impact on their number. Some people living near the areas inhabited by Sun Bears kill them to get money for their fur or sell young as pets. Currently, there are laws to protect the Bear Sun, but not everyone follows them.
