What is the toilet tube?
Toilet tube connects the outlet to the toilet bowl with a building waste pipe. The base of the toilet does not connect directly to the waste pipe, but the connection relies on a number of components to seal the connection and eliminate water and methane leaks. Sitting inside the waste pipe is a connector called the toilet flange. At the top of the toilet flange there is a wax ring that creates a seal between the upper part of the waste pipe and the base of the toilet bowl. Installation and maintenance Components Connection of toilet pipes ensure that water does not destroy the floor around the toilet or allow the methane gas to enter the structure. The wax ring consists of a thick layer of wax formed on a plastic or rubber seal. When the seal sits on the top of the toilet pipe, a thick wax ring pointing from the pipe. On the wax ring sits the toilet, compresses wax and seals the connection. Holding the base base tight to the wax ring is a set of toilet screws.
Toilet flanges have a flat, feed their heads and a long thread shaft. The slides of the flat head is in slots located at the top of the toilet pipe flange and rests just in front of the outer perimeter of the wax ring. When the toilet base sits above the flange, the screws slide into the holes thrown at the bottom of the base. Tightening the screws locks the toilet in the position through the toilet pipe. Excessive secretion of the screws bursts the toilet base or breaks the flange from the top of the toilet pipe.
Toilet pipeline flanges repair a broken flange and provide a stable assembly point for the toilet base. An unpleasant toilet base damages the seals between the wax ring and the toilet. This allows water and methane gas to circumvent the connection and enter the closed structure. Water damages wooden components surrounding Connection and the accumulation of methane gas creates a risk of fire in an enclosed space. The scent of methane gas in the bathroom is certainly knownLook that the connection was interrupted.
When the smell of methane gas gas is recorded or the toilet moves while pushing, the toilet pipe flange must be disassembled. Installing new components ensures that the seal remains intact. The heavily damaged toilet pipe flange will have to be replaced by a certified plumber.
