What is a Turkish van?
Turkish van is a rare cat breed that comes from the lake area in Turkey. These cats became famous for their unusual behavior around the water: unlike many cat breeds, Turkish supplies actually have as water and some of these cats even enjoy swimming. In Turkey, the Turkish van is a protected breed and there are several breeding programs dedicated to maintaining a Turkish van. Outside Turkey, Turkish supplies can sometimes be obtained from cat breeders, although they tend to be rather expensive. Turkish deliveries were certainly in the period of crusaders, because the Crusaders actually brought back to Europe. Turkish deliveries are also discussed in contemporary writings and depicted in various works of art. According to legend, this breed was born when two cats left Noah's Ark and decided to swim in dry soil than to stay on the ship longer.
Several properties distinguish the supply breed. These cats tend to be relatively large and extremely muscular and are known svoby force and dexterity. In Muslim countries, it is said that Turkish supplies with a small designation between their shoulders have an Allah stamp and this grade is considered extremely lucky. Since cats are generally loved in Muslim culture, these happy cats are lucky. Many vans are extremely intelligent, well natural and very friendly and tend to be social cats that sometimes have a funny stripe.
The coat of Turkish van is also quite significant. Unlike other cats they lack Turkish suppliespodsada. They have only one type of medium hair hair, causing them extremely soft, almost like cashmere. Their coats are also naturally resistant to water, which allows cats to dry quickly after swimming.
Because of their rarity, Turkish supplies are often highly valued. These cats were introduced to England in 1955 and the United States even later, in 1982. Turkish supplies are recognized by several registers of cat breeds around the world and the genetic stock of the breed is quite diverse, thanks to exchange programs with Turkey.
