What is the water garden?

The water garden is an artificial water element, usually a swimming pool or a pond that is designed to complement the natural environment. Water gardens usually include water plants, ornamental fish, sculptures, waterfalls and other decorations. You can find them in residential yards, courtyards and parks to complement landscaping and as improvements in existing gardens.

Especially marshy ponds attract wild frogs, snakes and turtles.
