What is ZZ plant?

When thinking about a room you are easy to care about, many botanists can recommend ZamiCulcas Zamifolia or ZZ. This plant is known to be extremely difficult to kill plants, and almost anyone is able to grow one interiors. Although it is grown all over the world as a decorative plant, the ZZ plant is considered a native of Africa, mainly Zanzibar and Tanzania. A member of the Araceae family, the only known species of ZamiCucas is considered to be Zamifolia. Because it comes from a dry climate first, it requires less water than many other houseplants and usually may not be connected more than once every few weeks. Tubers under excess water in the soil for use in the future and preventing them from rotting, soil is important to drain rapidly. Cactus soil that has an acidic to neutral pH is considered perfect for ZZ plants.

In addition to having this plant several requirements for irrigation, it can thusé survive in different light situations. While this plant can survive and grow in small to any light, it is recommended to be successful. However, some inner gardeners do not recommend to place the plant on direct sunlight, because it may be burn leaves, which causes them to be yellow and fall.

In addition to taking care of it, the leaves are one of the main reasons why these plants are so popular. Pinnate leaves of ZZ plants usually have a length of 18 to 24 inches (45 to 60 centimeters). Each sheet consists of six to eight pairs of leaflets that can range from 3 to 6 inches (7 to 15 centimeters). The leaves can range from medium to dark green and are often very smooth and shiny.

When it becomes graduation, the ZZ plant will produce one to two clusters of flowers, called padix or inflorescence during reproductive periods. These clusters are surrounded by Spathe, which is a large, striking leaf part of the flower. The color of these flowers can move from jaGold yellow after gold or bronze and can usually be seen from half to the end of summer to early autumn.

Insect problems together with diseases usually do not affect the plant of ZZ. The reason is probably related to hard wax leaves. However, it is recommended to remove the plant from the reach of children or pets. It is assumed that each part of this plant is for humans and many animals if they are enjoying.
