What is an American kickbox?

also referred to as fully contact rules kickboxing, American kickbox is a very popular combat sport. It is assumed that it was established in 1970, as a result of combat styles that combined key elements of boxing and karate. The first official American kickboxing event took place on January 17, 1970 and built former Karate Champions in the world Joe Lewis against Greg Baines. These rules control how the warriors present themselves and how to fight itself. Most importantly, they help ensure that competitors are protected when they participate in the physical struggle with full contact. The wheels usually last between two and three minutes, depending on whether competitors are amateurs or professionals. Amateur struggles usually have two minutes, while professional fighters usually compete in three minute rounds. Competitors get one minute of rest between the wheels. Any match can be stopped by an assigned referee or doctor if the competitor was injured during the match. A warrior or his coach canE also end the match by throwing into the towel.

One of the most important rules of American kickboxes concerns strikes. Competitors can hit their opponent's strokes and kicks to the top of the body. However, the fighters must not hit elbows, knees or shins at any point of the match. This could lead to loss of points or disqualification depending on the severity of the offense. Main maneuvers, such as feast and sweeping legs, can also lead to loss of points.

Every match in the American kickbox is scored on a 10-Point system. In order to declare the winner of the round, the competitor must land at least 10 kicks of his opponent in each round. The winner of the bike is automatically granted 10 points, while the loser is awarded points based on the number of successful kicks of the landed. The warriors are punished with a deduction of one point on an illegal strike or inappropriate pull.

American KickBox Academy can be found throughout the United StatesCH and competitions take place in several capitals. While some academies openly accept inexperienced students, for those interested in a professional kickboxer, it is recommended to have at least some background in martial arts. This is very important because most renowned schools do not allow students to participate in sanctioned competition until they develop a strong base of combat skills.
