What is an African marigold?

African Marigold is a genus or a group of species of colorful flowers related to the daisies. Normally they have small flowers that form a tight round cluster. This cluster may seem the only disheveled flower. They are usually yellow, orange or red, but can also be white or creamy. These flowers are usually annuals, which means they probably die in cold weather. The flowers of the African month are usually about three inches (7.6 cm) in width.
