What is Aglet?

Agle, known as Aiglet, is the end tip of the laces, which is bound by a metal mark, a plastic jacket, a glass holder or pressed polyester crimping. The tips of the fabric are protected by Aiglets and protect against decaying and fraying. Aglets, in the same way as needles with threads, make it easier to weave fabric weaving in and out of a series of holes in the shoe known as eye eyes or mesh, and further allow the wearer to attract the fabrics firmly and tie them. In addition to the laces, the Aiglets are used to cut the end of the cord, ribbons and cords; Sometimes these tips are used as fastening elements of fabric buttons and hooks. Different types of metals such as copper, bronze, silver and gold were used during ages to be useful and decorative aglet. A lace machine can be used to create plastic aglets. In this case, the plastic strips are surrounded around the laces and PPainted with heat and acetone solvent until plastic eyes completely with laces.
