What is English Iris?

The English iris is a permanent garden flower. Like other Iris family members, it is a beautiful accessory to floral pisses or borders. Cirise are originally from northern mild zones, but can be grown in various climate with proper care.

Despite its name, the English iris is in fact originally from the Pyrenees in Spain and France. Flowers were received by English Iris Misnator from Dutch growers who first received plants from British traders, assuming that they were of English origin. It is usually scientifically classified as iris latifolia , but Iris xiphioides and iris English is sometimes used to refer to the same species.
