What is the evaporated cooler?
The evaporated cooler is an electric air cooler with an electricity used for air conditioning in extremely arid areas. Sometimes known as a desert cooler or swamp cooler, evaporation coolers operate opposite the chilled air conditioning found in damp areas. Rather than removing moisture from the air, the evaporated cooler actually pumps the humidity into the air, causing a significant cooling effect.
In the dry areas of Western US and other low humite places, evaporated coolers can be a familiar view. Desert coolers can be installed on the roof of the building or mounted in a wall opening. One type of evaporated cooler offers direct access to the controls on the front of the unit. Others are designed to draw cold air through heating, air conditioning and ventilation (HVAC) pipes in the building, providing an effective and unobtrusive method for cooling hot dry air. Chilled air conditioning or forced air occurs more frequently in humid spotsMile.
The evaporating cooler mechanics is quite simple. The fan blows hot, outdoor air through a humid pad that turns on the drum, creating a cooling effect. The water tray on the base of the drum moistens the mat. The water is provided by a thin, flexible hose connected to the water source. The entire cooling unit is located in a metal box with multiple holes for the outer air.
Water use can sometimes be in the desert. On a typical summer day, 3 to 15 gallons (11.3 to 56.8 liters) of water can be excluded from the desert cooler. The purchase price is approximately the same as air conditioning with an evaluation to cool a similar space. The evaporated cooler occupies about twice the size of the cooled air conditioning, but uses only six electricity.
Some air conditioners work best when the cooled area is sealed from the outer air as strictly as possible, but the evaporated cooler requires the windows to be for optImal air conditioning cracked at least a few inches (5.8 cm). The violation in the internal environment allows the flow of hot air and replaced by cold humid air. However, as the moisture rises, the swamp cooler becomes less efficient.
vapor radiators need routine maintenance in seasonal climate. When the temperatures are immersed under freezing, the evaporated cooler must be rinsed and the covered canvas mounted to protect it. In the spring it is reconstructed and reconstructed for the next hot season of evaporated air conditioning.
