What is the outer door frame?
In the building, all the doors that open outside are called the outer door. The outer door frame is therefore a frame in which the outer door is mounted. Of course, the outer doors and outer door frames are subordinate to the extreme conditions of the sun and the weather and must be hard and weather resistant. The door frame packaging and the door frame are usually divided into head cases/hard work and side covers/jugs. The heads are horizontal members at the top of the door frame and the side pieces are vertical members on each side of the door. The threshold is the bottom of the frame. Dados, or notches for the window sill, as well as cutouts and holes for door hardware, curtains and locking mechanisms, are also inserted into the frame.Mrake and doors are correctly prepared to install and/or apply the weather materials. Unlike the frame of the inner door, which usually has no covers, and a small need for weathering requires the outer door frame considerable attention to the prevention of designs and/or leaks. Both dives and leaks rob a heat buildingin cold weather or air conditioning in warmer weather. Also, the outer door frame, especially the wooden frame, is subject to rot if it is not properly covered and maintained.
In addition to cases and danbes, the door frame will have a threshold value as the bottom of the frame. The threshold is often the smallest cozy part of the frame to the door and must be well sealed with special weather strength or weather streaming can be attached to the bottom of the door. Some door frames are produced with weatherpling on the threshold and at the bottom of the door. In the case of the outer door frame located below the degree of soil, the space between the threshold and the door, if it is not properly sealed, will allow the water to penetrate the building between the doors and the frame.
Most outer doors and frames are designed from wood because it is light but still robust, reasonably easy work and much cheaper than metal. However, metal outer doors and frames are much impermeable for the weatherWood, with another advantage is also much harder to penetrate or, in the case of a criminal intention.
