What is Arab jasmine?

Arab Jasmine, also known as Jasmine Sambac, is a plant originally grown in Asia, where trading was popular in Arabia and Persia. Several different types were created through the breeding and several different names are also known. Arab jasmine can be commonly used in perfumes and tea, can be a garden or a room role and is usually grown as a middle -size shrub, although it will grow as a vine with proper care.

The term "Arabic jasmine" is used to describe the original Jasmine Sambac plant, as well as cultivars or types that people kept from this species.
