What is Aritmancy?

Aritmany is the art of divination with numbers. In this numerological tradition, every Latin letter about the name or other most important item is assigned a number to which many processes are then applied. The resulting one -digit number can be made a forecast on the future of the person. This number can also be used to evaluate the personal tendencies of people carrying this name.

The exact interpretation of these numbers is usually at the discretion of a numerologist, but there are certain trends that are often formalized in arithman graphs. The whole practice is based on the claim that the numbers, names and the way they connect to the living world are meaningful and effective and can speak with the present and future. The first is the aggripan method in which the letters are given by numbers one to nine. They are Assigned OK, so the letter "A" receives the letter "I" will receive nine and receive the letter "J" again, and it continues until there are any other letters. The Chaldean method assigns only numbers one to eight and the digits associated with eachThe letter was determined by comparison of Latin letters to Hebrew counterparts.

Once the letters are to be used, the numbers are assigned, these numbers are usually added together. If the sum of the two -digit number is added each of these numbers. The process is repeated until the sum is a single -digit number. This single digit was analyzed. There are often variations on this basic strategy, but the bones process usually uses only census.

Not all letters of the person's name are always used for divination and there are at least three types of numbers that are derived from the person's name. The jaracter Cícter uses all the letters of the person's name and provides a general type of personality. The person's heart number is calculated from all vowels in his name and shows inner properties. On the other hand, the social number is calculated from all consonants of the person's name and reveals the features displayed externally. Other systems are possibleSelection of numbers, especially when using ancient or historical traditions for interpretation.

People practicing Aritmans are often confronted with criticism that the name is a seemingly arbitrary act and these words have no own connection with the things they represent. For example, a tree is no less tree when it is called Arbre that would have a different arithmantic number than the word tree. The person can be more influenced by his name than a tree, but not only the name but the spelling to determine a large amount of man, sounds illogical to many.

The Pract wers of Aritmanca often deal with this criticism by claiming that children choose their own names and mentally communicate them to their parents. Others believe more belief in the flexibility of interpretation to compensate for any nature of names. Yet they are usually not a source of great concern for those who appreciate this practice. People who believe in Aritmanca tend to believe that the future and the true nature of things want to be fromHalted to human listeners and that this is just one way to reveal these truths.
