What is artillery?
Artillery is a term used to refer to both heavy weapons designed to discharge projectiles for relatively long distances and the crews that operate such weapons. People also use this term more generally to refer to the study of weapons known as Gunners. Artillery of some or other forms has been used in the war for centuries and is often at the forefront of military technology; Especially in the 20th century, artillery became particularly important. First, an artillery weapon usually requires special housing and the efforts of several people are needed to operate weapons. The weapon is also designed to shoot extremely large missiles caliber, which can cause considerable damage to landing. In addition, crews use indirect fire equipment to operate their weapons, which means that instead of visualing the goal and focus on it, the crew uses a mathematical form to create an enemy's reach to fire a weapon over a long distance.
Thanks to the indirect fire, artillery can be used even if the visibility is poor if the soldiers on Earth have any idea of where the enemy is. It is common for artillery to shoot a short opening salvo to find the range, and then adjust this salvo as needed. Sometimes a short salvo is required, especially for shells, which will explode explosive and throw the shrapnel over a wide area. The location of artillery is known as a battery.
artillery can be repaired, as is the case with coastal and anti -aircraft batteries, or it can be mobile, as with field artillery. Repaired weapons are often extremely heavy and many of them are optimized for specific ranges to be effectively used to defend airports, coasts, etc. Field artillery is lighter, but it is still typical requires the use of a heavy car.
Most militants have an artillery division, usually in the army, and artillery members can decideNout focus on specific theoretical situations or weapons in your training. Modern weapons are quite sophisticated, they make a large part of mathematics for their operators, and allow people to enter basic information about reach and known weather conditions to optimize their operation. There are various use of artillery, from a blanket with a fire before the advancement of ground soldiers to the shooting of enemy aircraft from the sky.
